Resource List

The purpose of this assignment is to find scholarly resources appropriate to address the research topic that you have selected for your course project, and to further refine your problem statement based on what you find.

Preparation

Review the background and resources online research that you worked with in Units 3 and 5.

Identify potential keywords appropriate for the problem statement that you have chosen for your project. Begin searching for resources, and refine your search as you see the kinds of results that you get.

Instructions

Compile the results of your practice searches until you reach a total of 10–12 possible scholarly resources from which you will choose at least 5 for your resource list.

Review the article abstracts, making note of the ideas and approaches addressed in each resource.

Reflect on your strongest interests in the project. Review your problem statement and refine it, based on your reflection.

Turn in the following in your assignment:

1. Your refined Problem Statement, including the focus made possible by your research.
2. Your Project Resource List with a list of a minimum of 5 scholarly articles that directly address your refined topic. Each article reference should be formatted according to APA format. Note: In addition to the formatting resources provided in Unit 7, you are free to use digital resources like Son of Citation Machine (see Resources) to help you format your references properly.

Refer to the Resource List Scoring Guide to ensure that your work meets the grading criteria for this assignment.

Your resource list is due by 11:59 pm Central Time on Sunday.
