Your essay’s analysis and argument will be directly derived from: • One primary source (your chosen reading from the syllabus); • At least two credible, relevant secondary research sources (ex. academic journal article, literary magazine article, book chapter, book review, newspaper article, interview, essays and criticism, documentary film, etc.) related to your chosen text and/or thematic concerns; • Your own close reading and analysis of your sources.
